GHR Healthcare is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for a 13‑week Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. This role offers 12‑hour nights, 36 hours per week, and a supportive team environment that focuses on patient care and professional growth.

Hours:
36 per week - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910–$2,010

- Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – telemetry / acute care
- Pay Package: Based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined

- Active Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient RN experience; PCU, telemetry, or step‑down experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required (clinical documentation in Epic)
- Nursing diploma or associate’s degree in nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- Strong English communication skills (read, write, speak)
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, complex assessments, and rapid clinical decision‑making
- Provide safe, effective, patient‑ and family‑centered care in a fast‑paced PCU
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, telemetry monitoring, and timely reassessments per policy
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for acute and step‑down patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to coordinate care
- Document clinical interventions and patient responses clearly and accurately in Epic
- Provide patient and family education across the care continuum, including discharge planning
- Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed personnel while maintaining patient safety
- Mentor and precept new staff and travel nurses to support team development
- Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
