PCU RN - Louisville, KY - 12hr Day Shift-36
Unit Info: o Beds: 21
o Minimum Years of Experience? 1 year
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types/Diagnoses: o Moderate to high acuity cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and medical patients. o CHF, strict I&Os, SVT, a-fib, a-flutter, NSTEMI, coronary artery disease, COPD exacerbations, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, pleural effusions w/ thoras, respiratory failure, acute and chronic kidney failure, altered mental status, metabolic/electrolyte abnormalities, DM, anemia
Patient Ratios: o 1:5
Required Certs: o BLS, NIHSS
Skills required:
o Continual bipap, high-flow nasal cannula, wound care (including dressing pressure injuries), surgical wound care, negative pressure dressing, interpreting cardiac rhythms, o Drips:
Heparin, Lasix, Amiodarone
o Prefer: charge experience and willingness to take on charge duties
