Position OverviewAs a Financial Aid Manager at Galen College of Nursing, you will provide leadership to campus financial aid staff and assist leadership team at campus level in all areas related to student finances.
Key Responsibilities- Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements. - Experience:
Experience using Microsoft Office systems such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Special
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people. Position requires great attention to detail, time management skills, willingness to be a team player, and conflict resolution. Ability to document all communications with students in Ellucian Colleague. The candidate must have the ability to enroll in and be granted access to all Department of Education websites, including, but not limited to, NSLDS, COD, CPS, etc.
Only candidates with no prior history of student loan default will be considered. - Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment:
Must be able to sit at a desk for eight (8) hours at a time. - Degree of Supervision:
Minimal.
