Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with an active KY or compact license and at least two years of recent OR experience.
Responsibilities- Position is in a hospital Operating Room setting
- Shift is 10:30am to 11:00pm
- 13-week contract assignment
- No local travelers accepted per 50-mile radius rule
- CPI training is mandatory for all RNs and may be completed on site
- Proof of US Social Security Number required (no Canadian SSN accepted)
- Candidates must not have any license issues or disciplinary actions
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required according to unit needs
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum of two years recent Operating Room RN experience required
- Current AHA certifications including BLS and ACLS that do not expire during contract
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
- CPI training required and can be completed onsite
- Must provide explanation for any work history gaps of three months or more
- Fully vaccinated for influenza and COVID-19
