Lead Dispensing Nurse for MAT Clinic – LPN/LVN
Med Mark Treatment Centers is looking for an effective Nurse Leader with integrity, empathy, dedication to excellence and the ability to handle stress. The lead nurse works in partnership with the Nurse Supervisor, Program/Medical Director, to ensure delivery of adequate and qualitative nursing coverage for all program and dispensing and medical operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Ensure that physician’s medication orders are enacted meeting time expectations, including delivery to outside facilities.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and program regulations for medical services.
- Delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, or competent unlicensed personnel.
- Communicate and collaborate with the Nursing Supervisor regarding potential issues.
- Schedule and participate in Treatment Teams, Panel Review, Department Head and General Staff meetings.
- Manage nursing team – time clock edits, schedule development, performance improvement activities, and monthly reports.
- Review and resolve client clinical complaints; intervene in crisis situations.
- Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
- Licensed in KY as a Registered Nurse (RN) with 3–5 years’ experience.
- Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine preferred.
- Accurate record keeping with understanding of HIPAA, federal, state, & CARF standards & regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with a diverse community.
- Fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, basic addiction medicine science, and community health resources.
- Ability to execute written and oral instructions, exercise judgment, work cooperatively, maintain objective attitude, and stimulate patients and families toward constructive actions.
- Computer proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Suite.
- Successful drug screen and criminal background check.
