We’re looking for a compassionate, highly skilled, and mission-driven RN, Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our Kosair for Kids™ Complex Care Center at Home of the Innocents.

Day in the Life of RN, Clinical Nurse Supervisor

The RN, Clinical Nurse Supervisor provides leadership and clinical oversight to ensure safe, high-quality care for residents of the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center (KCC). This skilled nursing facility provides short-term, long-term, and respite care for children and young adults with complex medical, developmental, and physical needs, including trachs, vents, seizures, and neurological disorders.

The RN, Clinical Nurse Supervisor coordinates daily nursing operations, supports and mentors team members, and ensures that care delivery reflects Home of the Innocents’ mission of providing hope, health, and happiness to every child we serve.

Schedule: Day or Night Shift (Self-Scheduling Available)
Status: Full-Time 36 hours/week

How This Position Contributes to Our Mission

Supervise and support nurses and nursing assistants to ensure quality and compliance

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (RTs, therapists, physicians, social workers) to coordinate care

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards

Provide leadership and problem-solving in the absence of administrative staff

Assist with staffing, scheduling, and team training as needed

Deliver hands-on nursing care when required to meet resident needs

RN, Clinical Nurse Supervisor Qualifications

Current, unencumbered Kentucky RN license

CPR/BLS certification (required)

Charge nurse or leadership experience preferred

Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
