** 6 East is a 17-bed medical telemetry unit. Clinicians on this unit enjoy caring for a variety of intermediate level patients with disease processes involving the following systems:
Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Immune/Infectious Disease, and Renal.

** Jewish Hospital, part of UofL Health, is an internationally renowned, high-tech tertiary referral center, developing leading-edge advancements in hand and microsurgery, heart and lung care, orthopedics and sports medicine, neuroscience, organ transplantation and outpatient care. Job Description:

*
* Education:

* Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program is (required)  + All new-hire Associate Degree Registered Nurses (new graduate and experienced) are required to start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete an approved BSN program within three (3) years of hire (required)
* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (preferred)

Experience:

* All new RN graduates will participate in the Nurse Residency program and must successfully complete all activities (required)
* Two years of hospital patient care experience (preferred)
Licensure:
* Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky (required)
Certification:
* Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (may be required for specific clinical areas)
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (may be required for specific clinical areas)
