Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. This locum tenens travel RN position is in the Telemetry Unit (4E/4C) of a Louisville hospital.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN)
• Preferred: telemetry, same-day surgery, detox, bone marrow transplant, mental health, or IDD experience

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments in the telemetry unit
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized nursing care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions and treatments
• Educate patients and families about nursing care, treatment, and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel, serving as a mentor and preceptor to new staff
• Promote teamwork and participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and participate in Practice Governance
