As an RN in the Burn ICU, you will provide specialized care for patients with severe burns, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive treatment and support.

• Provide direct and compassionate care to patients in the Burn ICU, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Monitor and assess patients' condition, vital signs, and response to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and follow established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions and interventions.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in burn care and critical care nursing.

Candidate requirements

• Valid RN license in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
  Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Certification in Burn Nursing (CBRN) is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, with specific experience in burn care preferred.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
