Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of recent OR experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

• Position is in a hospital operating room setting
• Day shifts from 6:30am to 7:00pm
• Thirteen-week contract assignment
• Patient population consists of surgical patients in an acute care setting
• No local travelers will be accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates must wear attire in accordance with the operating room dress code
• All RNs are required to complete orientation and any necessary facility training modules
• Team-based environment with collaboration among surgical staff

• Active KY or compact RN license is required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the operating room specialty
• Current AHA BLS certification required and must not expire during assignment
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• CPI training is required for all RNs and may be completed onsite
• Candidates must provide a valid US Social Security Number
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated for influenza and COVID-19
• No adverse actions (“HITS”) on nursing license will be accepted
• Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained
