Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of recent specialty experience, KY or compact RN license, and AHA certifications for a hospital assignment with on-call requirements.

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Primary schedule is 7:00am to 7:30pm
• On-call coverage is required during the assignment
• Responsibilities include assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and patient care in the Cath Lab
• Gaps in work history of 3 months or more require explanation
• No local travelers are eligible for this travel RN position
• Applicants must provide documentation of licensure and certifications prior to assignment

• Active KY or compact RN license without disciplinary actions
• Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab RN experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications valid through the entire assignment
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
• Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training, which may be completed on site
• Must be fully vaccinated for influenza and COVID-19
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the work location
• Applicants must have a US Social Security Number
