Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring an active KY or compact RN license and recent Cath Lab experience.

• Position is based in the Cath Lab of a hospital
• Shifts are 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
• On-call duty is required
• This is a 13-week travel assignment
• Applicants will assist with cardiac catheterization procedures and other Cath Lab duties
• All RNs are required to complete CPI training, which may be done onsite
• Vaccination cards for Flu and COVID-19 must be submitted for credentialing
• Only AHA certifications are accepted
• Candidates must not have been previously employed in a permanent role at the facility
• Orientation and training will be provided for required modules
• No local travelers accepted as defined by a 50-mile radius rule

• Active KY or compact RN license with no disciplinary actions
• Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Current AHA certifications required and cannot be expiring during the assignment's month of start
• Current NIHSS certification must be provided prior to start
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required and may be completed onsite
• Must be fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19 with documentation
• Must provide US Social Security Number
• Candidates with a gap in work history of 3 months or more must provide an explanation
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
