Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of New Fund Development for a mission-driven, community-focused philanthropic organization. This is a hybrid role based in Louisville, KY, offering a unique opportunity to drive charitable impact through relationship-building, education, and innovative fund development.
POSITION OVERVIEWIn this outward-facing leadership role, the Director of New Fund Development is responsible for expanding charitable impact by cultivating new donor relationships and opening new funds. Partnering closely with internal stakeholders, this role develops and executes outreach strategies that grow a strong pipeline of prospective fund holders and referral partners. This position is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who enjoys community engagement, storytelling, and helping individuals and organizations achieve their philanthropic goals.

- Demonstrated success in relationship-driven roles such as development, fundraising, sales, wealth advisory, or community engagement
- Comfort engaging with diverse audiences, including individuals, families, and professional advisors
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport
- Collaborative, self-motivated approach with sound judgment and problem-solving skills

This is a full-time, exempt position offering an annual salary up to $95K (DOE).
