Position

Seat Assembler

Pay Rate Progression: Start $19/hr after 90 days - $19.25/hr after 6 months - $19.75/hr.

Schedule and Benefits

Hours: M-F (6am - 2:30pm). Hours may vary slightly due to need. OT is available;
Saturdays are very rare.

Benefits: Full Benefits after 90 days. Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, etc.

Responsibilities
  • The Seat Assembler is part of the Production department and reports to the Line Supervisor.
  • Work as a team member on a production line adding various components to the seat assembly.
  • Assure Safety & Quality standards are always followed.
  • Contribute fully to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to “5S” and “World Class Housekeeping” standards.
  • Help to achieve team performance goals and objectives.
  • Identify and record any problems related to the product, process, and quality system.
  • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands & arms.
  • Repetitive gripping and dexterous use of hands.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of related experience preferred but not required.
