* Job Description:

** Ariens Co, a leader in outdoor equipment manufacturing, is seeking a motivated and skilled Distribution Center Associate to become an integral part of our team in Shepherdsville, KY.

** 2nd Shift Schedule
- Monday-Friday 1:30-10pm.
**** Position pay $20/hr. + $2/hr. shift differential for all hours worked.
**** The Day to Day…
*** Demonstrate proficiency in accurately selecting products to fulfill customer orders with precision and speed.
* Ensure products are securely prepared for shipping, maintaining their quality and integrity during transit.
* Show exceptional attention to detail by thoroughly verifying each order against customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
* Handle essential shipping documents with care, ensuring they are accurately maintained and organized.
* Efficiently monitor and manage our inventory of packaging supplies, ensuring they are readily available and stored properly.
* Adapt to various tasks as needed, contributing to different aspects of operations to support evolving customer needs and business objectives.
* Possess certification in operating diverse types of forklifts (including sit-down, stand-up, and reach models), contributing to efficient warehouse operations.
* Apply the principles of 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) to enhance and maintain an organized, efficient, and safe workspace.
** The Qualifications...
*** Possess the ability to skillfully use basic hand tools for various tasks and adjustments.
* Bring basic computer literacy, coupled with essential math and reading abilities, to effectively manage tasks and processes.
* Always prioritize and perform job functions with a strong focus on safety, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
* Capable of comprehending and consistently following established work practices to maintain efficiency and quality.
* Must be able to fluently read invoices and comprehend commands in English, particularly in relation to our picking system, to ensure smooth and effective operations.
** The Work Environment...
*** Required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection and safety shoes.
* Required to work in a hot and humid or cold environment.
* Required to stand/walk at least 8 hours per day.
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, 35 lbs frequently, push, pull, twist, reach, bend, squat.
