Overview
Shift: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM. Hourly Rate: $22.45 per hour + $0.75 shift differential.
Location:
Louisville, KY facility. You will report to the Sanitation Team Lead.
- Onsite reporting at Louisville, KY location.
- Overtime as scheduled (daily and weekend).
- Schedule includes weekend work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, plus one 8-hour weekday shift. Weekend shifts consist of three 12-hour overnight shifts with start times between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The weekday shift is an 8-hour shift beginning at 10:00 p.m. Additional shifts may be added based on business needs.
Reporting to the Sanitation Team Leader, you will help keep a fast-paced facility running by cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and areas during the 3rd shift. You will work hands-on with high-pressure hoses, equipment disassembly, and sanitation tools to ensure a safe, food-safe environment that supports smooth production.
- Clean, sanitize, and inspect equipment and production areas.
- Gather chemicals, tools, and utensils needed for cleaning.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment for sanitation.
- Rinse and clean conveyors, rollers, and hoppers with high-pressure hoses.
- Clean drains in assigned zones.
- Sanitize tools and utensils.
- Remove water, grease, and debris.
- Perform housekeeping in common areas.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
- Apply GMPs, plant safety, chemical handling, and MSDS practices.
- Support 5S and CPS.
- Work overtime or flex as production requires.
- 1+ years of sanitation or related experience (ideal).
- Knowledge of GMPs and safety (ideal).
- Understanding of basic machine operations.
- Physical requirements:
- Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs occasionally when positioning items.
- Push/pull negligible force consistently and up to 10 lbs frequently.
