Job Functions:

• Maintain and repair all equipment within the yard.
• Change liners, belts, pulleys, electrical motors, bearings, gear boxes and other necessary equipment.
• Assist other maintenance and production personnel during scheduled repair projects.
• Operate mobile equipment as needed.
• Work in outdoor and indoor environments.
• Minor cleanup and other duties as assigned.

Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Maintain and repair all equipment within the yard.
• Change liners, belts, pulleys, electrical motors, bearings, gear boxes and other necessary equipment.
• Assist other maintenance and production personnel during scheduled repair projects.
• Operate mobile equipment as needed.
• Work in outdoor and indoor environments.
• Minor cleanup and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Flexible to work off hours and overtime.
• Minimum of 2 years previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Welding experience preferred.
