We have an immediate opportunity for an Assembler to join us at our diverse team in Louisville, KY. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell from set‑up to testing. They will utilize a work order and build a unit based on the design plan given to them. They will need a general knowledge of how to use basic hand tools such as an impact drill and ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Report directly to Team leader and/or Production Manager
• Perform all unit assembly activities.
• Ensure manufacturing conformance to design specifications.
• Maintain test and assembly tools and equipment.
• Operate Forklift and Overhead Crane
• Assist other areas of production when and where required by assembly supervisor
• Maintain tidy working area.
• Practice safety in the workplace.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand test processes and requirements
• Ability to operate Hydro-test equipment.
• Basic understanding of metric conversion calculations
