We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of our plant. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment including laminators, slitters, conveyors, and other machinery critical to our operation. The Maintenance Technician will also lead and support preventative maintenance and continuous improvement efforts across the facility. This position plays a key role in driving safety, quality, and compliance with company policies while ensuring minimal downtime and reliable performance of equipment.

JOB DUTIES
  • Comply with all safety requirements and actively promote a positive safety culture.
  • Be responsible for maintenance activities that are performed to keep the plant and equipment operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, install, and repair conveyors, machines, motors, sprockets, gear boxes, saws, chains, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders.
  • Fabricate and weld mechanical components to support equipment function and plant operations.
  • Operate forklifts, man lifts, bucket trucks, and hand/power tools to perform maintenance duties.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, continuous improvements, and document calibrations, repairs, and inspections as required.
  • Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests in accordance with departmental guidelines and procedures
  • Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding and fabricating.
  • Experience with OSHA safety standards for industrial machinery, local electrical codes and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the ability to safely perform essential job functions in a manufacturing environment, including:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
  • Regular lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.; pushing/pulling up to 40 lbs.
  • Reaching, repetitive motion, and frequent use of hands/feet for coordination.
  • Frequent head/neck rotation and upper body twisting.
  • Visual acuity to read gauges, documents, and inspect products.
  • Tolerance for high-heat environments (90–110°F) and ability to work in these conditions for extended periods.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Manufacturing/industrial setting with exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • May require working near chemicals or hazardous materials.
  • Consistent exposure to moderate to high noise levels (hearing protection provided).
This position is located within a federally regulated Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ). In accordance with applicable laws, a background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment.
