Position: Maintenance Supervisor - Apartment Community

Overview

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Preston Oaks Apartments in Louisville. We are offering up to $32/hr plus $1,000 quarterly bonuses, full benefits, tool reimbursement, and 2 weeks paid time off.

Compensation and Benefits
  • $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
  • Quarterly Supervisor bonus structure, up to $4,000.00 per year
  • On-Call Bonus, $100.00 a week when on-call. Min 1.5 hours of pay for any call
  • $50.00 On Call Bonus paid per day for any major holiday worked

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
  • Painting and staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Work with the Property Manager on a monthly budget review
  • Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
  • Exterior structural maintenance as needed
  • Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in maintenance
  • 2+ years in multi-family housing preferred
  • Experience managing/supervising 2+ employees
  • Experience managing maintenance in up to 200 units
  • Dry walling including painting and carpentry
  • Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
  • Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
  • A physical demonstration of ability to complete the basic job duties may be required during the interview process
  • This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check and drug screening
