Essential Duties and Tasks:
- Works closely with the Regional Career Services Manager or Director to ensure program outcomes and to connect with and develop relationships with employers in the local labor market to place customers in potential jobs.
- Functions as supervisor of Career Coaches, giving and receiving peer input into the delivery of services.
- Oversees programs or initiatives assigned.
- Will provide direct supervision to Career Coaches assigned.
- Monitors required electronic data bases to ensure data is kept current and accurate.
- Gathers and consolidates data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and other reports as required/requested.
- Ensures program outcomes are met per contract/MOA requirements.
- Monitors caseloads of assigned Career Coaches to ensure services are being administered within Goodwill Works guidelines.
- Communicates with and serves as a liaison between Career Coaches, participants, and other agencies
- May provide direct service to participants as needed
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or one-year work experience in lieu of college degree in workforce development/social services environments such as a workforce development program and/or community rehabilitation providing services to individuals with disabilities and/or disadvantages.
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 yrs. of management or supervisory experience in Workforce Development or Human/Social Services field.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or disadvantages.
