Job Summary
Volare Health is seeking an experienced Power BI Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) portfolio. This role focuses on building dashboards and reports that support census, staffing, labor, agency reduction, clinical quality, and financial performance.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for SNF operations and performance
- Develop reporting for census, payer mix, staffing ratios, overtime, and agency usage
- Support clinical quality reporting (Five-Star, QMs, rehospitalizations, survey readiness)
- Create dashboards related to PDPM, CMI, reimbursement, and revenue trends
- Develop workforce analytics for recruitment, turnover, and time-to-fill
- Integrate data from EMR/EHR, payroll, HRIS, scheduling, and financial systems
- Write and optimize DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and SQL queries
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with healthcare standards
- Partner with operations, clinical, finance, HR, and recruitment leaders
- Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards
- Experience supporting Skilled Nursing Facilities, long-term care, or post-acute healthcare
- Strong Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL skills
- Experience working with clinical, operational, and financial healthcare data
- Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
- SNF EMR experience (Point Click Care or similar)
- Knowledge of PDPM and Five-Star Quality metrics
- Experience with multi-facility or regional healthcare organizations
- Familiarity with Azure data services and Power BI governance
