Job Summary

Volare Health is seeking an experienced Power BI Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) portfolio. This role focuses on building dashboards and reports that support census, staffing, labor, agency reduction, clinical quality, and financial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for SNF operations and performance
  • Develop reporting for census, payer mix, staffing ratios, overtime, and agency usage
  • Support clinical quality reporting (Five-Star, QMs, rehospitalizations, survey readiness)
  • Create dashboards related to PDPM, CMI, reimbursement, and revenue trends
  • Develop workforce analytics for recruitment, turnover, and time-to-fill
  • Integrate data from EMR/EHR, payroll, HRIS, scheduling, and financial systems
  • Write and optimize DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and SQL queries
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with healthcare standards
  • Partner with operations, clinical, finance, HR, and recruitment leaders
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards
  • Experience supporting Skilled Nursing Facilities, long-term care, or post-acute healthcare
  • Strong Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL skills
  • Experience working with clinical, operational, and financial healthcare data
  • Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Experience
  • SNF EMR experience (Point Click Care  or similar)
  • Knowledge of PDPM and Five-Star Quality metrics
  • Experience with multi-facility or regional healthcare organizations
  • Familiarity with Azure data services and Power BI governance
