The Role & Growth Potential:
This is a multi-faceted role that blends office management, HR, safety, compliance, accounting, and IT coordination. The scope of this role can expand based on experience and ambition:
- Someone with strong leadership skills could evolve into a key decision-maker in HR, operations, or other areas of the business.
- Someone who prefers administrative support can focus on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who wants to own and improve key areas of the company, with the flexibility to take on greater leadership responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a diverse, multi-faceted role with responsibilities spanning across office management, HR, safety, accounting, compliance, and tech support.
Office & Administrative Support
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth workflows.
- Maintain company records, office organization, and meeting coordination.
- Manage vendor relationships relating to office administration.
Employee & HR Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and requests.
- Assist HR manager with hiring, onboarding, and offboarding employees, including setting up tech access.
- Administer work gear, benefits, and 401(k) information.
- Oversee the company Apprenticeship program and required reporting.
- Potential for greater involvement in HR leadership based on experience.
Safety Program & Compliance Support
- Assist with OSHA compliance, safety program tracking, and workers’ compensation claims.
- Monitor employee safety training completions and certifications.
- Support fleet tracking, safety, and compliance.
Payroll & Financial Support
- Assist accounting team with payroll accuracy, compliance, and reporting.
- Handle bank deposits and financial reconciliation.
Compliance & Fleet Management
- Oversee OSHA, DOT, and other compliance reporting.
- Assist with permits, job-site inspections, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the go-to person for company tech support, including overseeing various software and systems and working with our IT team.
Event Planning
- Plan and execute company events, meetings, and celebrations.
- Handle any additional tasks to support the greater TEM team as needed.
Who You Are:

- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems.
- Able to wear multiple hats and juggle various responsibilities while prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Emotionally intelligent and able to work well with a wide range of personalities.
- Prior experience in office management, HR, payroll, or compliance is a plus. (Experience in construction or electrical contracting is an even bigger plus!)
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take on more leadership over time.

- Work Schedule:
