OverviewThe Associate Vice President of Sales will manage the regional business line strategy, drive strategic business plans and growth, and meet or exceed senior living revenue goals through organic new sales and client retention. They will plan, develop, and execute senior living initiatives aligned with Phar Merica’s strategic direction and goals.

Responsibilities- Work with the Vice President of Growth and Market Development, Vice Presidents of Operations, Regional Pharmacy Directors, Account Executives, and other key associates to implement growth initiatives aligned with Phar Merica’s revenue plan.
- Develop and execute chain client business strategies to expand Phar Merica’s value proposition and manage client expectations, providing financial, operational, and clinical updates.
- Ensure new business is implemented consistently with the client management plan, coordinating with Vice Presidents of Sales, Client Management, and regional directors.
- Maintain and update the client profiling database to support continuous improvement and consistent growth.
- Support new client start‑ups, acquisitions, and business transitions as necessary.
- Lead the development and execution of strategy with regional client managers and corporate chain clients to secure long‑term partnerships.
- Perform other tasks as assigned and adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA/MHA preferred.
- Five years of client management or client sales experience.
- Experience working with CEOs, COOs, and SVPs.
- Five years in Pharmacy Benefit Management, Pharmacy Wholesale Management, or Senior Living Care Management.
- Familiarity with broad sales, client service orientation, and territory management.
- Knowledge of tools and databases related to sales management.
- Strong client service, communication, and influence skills.
- Strong negotiation skills, financial business acumen, and process discipline.
