Role
By emphasizing ONE Park, ONE Mission, One Team, the Lead Project Manager contributes to the improvement and advancement of organizational initiatives through the implementation of credit union projects. This role ensures work quality and timely project delivery contributing directly to overall credit union goals and objectives. This role further ensures the implementation of the project life cycle from conception to production to meet the organizational goals and mission.
EssentialFunctions & Responsibilities
- Manage implementation of assigned projects, including identifying interdepartmental resources and stakeholders, working with appropriate individuals to identify project objectives and requirements, outlining the work/tasks involved in projects and delegating/manage accordingly, developing timelines that include milestones, hosting necessary project discovery, sync, and closure meetings, acting as a liaison between vendors, internal resources, and stakeholders, and managing the project within scope and parameters defined.
Keep managers and key stakeholders informed of project status as well as any issues that may arise that would hinder the success or completion of a project. Additionally, assist project managers by monitoring and overseeing all projects and their status to ensure initiatives stay on track and timely escalation occurs when needed. - Make revisions in Symitar and other systems as needed for the purpose of configuration and user management during the lifecycle of a project.
- Work with Compliance personnel to ensure appropriate rules and regulations are followed and processes are in place to minimize CU risk with any new products/processes implemented.
- Make suggestions for improvement to processes that may increase productivity, improve efficiency, mitigate risk to the credit union, etc.

Experience
Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
Education
(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
