As a Quality Supervisor at Arvato, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and compliance with ISO
9001 standards. This position oversees resource allocation, audit execution, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest levels of quality across all processes. You will lead a dynamic team, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions, and foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Your leadership will be key in implementing strategic quality plans, optimizing efficiency, and supporting a culture of accountability and improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee allocation of resources in coordination of Quality Team auditing activities.
  • Administer daily tasks for Quality Department personnel.
  • Plan for manpower coverage daily/weekly to ensure all areas are properly staffed in accordance with the Operations plan, including overtime, weekend, and holiday scheduling.
  • Responsible for the effectiveness of troubleshooting, RCCA, SPC analysis, and other process improvements to the Quality Team.
  • Develop (P/D)
    FMEAs/Control Plans as applicable.
  • Coordinate and execute Document Control activities at the site level.
  • Ensure positive customer/supplier communication and relationships through interpersonal skills and application of depth of knowledge of program requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and facilitate teams for the execution of auditing and other quality department activities.
  • Train Team Members on audit procedures, and ensure audits are performed as scheduled.
  • Provide leadership and decision-making abilities as a liaison to the Operations team.
  • Follow-up and accountability/coordination/problem-solving for corrective actions and internal audits.
  • Communicate, track, and analyze audit discrepancies.
  • Respond to and plan for escalations from Internal/External Customers/Operations Team and other departments as needed.
  • Drive improvement plans relating to the effectiveness/efficiency of the Operation and Quality functions.
  • Assist with Internal Audit scheduling, planning, and execution and assist with customer communications as needed.
  • Provide Quality department representation/leadership to the Operations Team.
  • Identify needs and initiate creation of process documentation, including but not limited to Work Instructions, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Standard Work.
  • Lead plant-wide efforts on continuous improvement/waste reduction/problem-solving through a task force (jishuken).
  • Communicate potential problems to internal and external customers and implement recommendations for resolutions.
  • Contribute and participate in the Quality Management System and the Environmental Management System to meet customer requirements and relevant international standards.
  • Review and communicate Statistical Process Control (SPC) data; ensure action plans are in place where necessary.
  • Ensure time management is properly managed/executed in the completion of all projects/duties.
  • Assist with the needs of internal/external customers in addressing quality system requirements.
  • Abide by all Corporate/site-specific policies including Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, and Human Resources policies.
Profile
  • Candidates with a BS degree, Community College courses in a Quality-related discipline;
    Quality Assurance Certificate (ASQ) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quality position in the manufacturing industry or related field; 2 years of direct supervision of employees. Must have experience in high-volume/high mix operations.
  • Proficient in the understanding and use of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs/applications.
  • Familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
  • High level of time management and demonstrated ability to lead a large team.
  • Vast knowledge of ISO
    9001 quality standards and procedures.
  • Six Sigma background/experience desired.
  • Demonstrated success managing new initiatives while meeting operating and budgetary requirements.
