As a growing agency, we are seeking a highly efficient and process-oriented Production Manager to lead our direct marketing and event operations.
Position Overview: J&L Marketing is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Production Manager to join our growing team and help streamline our operations as we scale. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this critical role will manage the Client Success department ensuring seamless campaign delivery, adherence to timelines, and exceptional quality. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem-solver with a passion for efficiency, process improvement, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of our direct marketing and event services, contributing directly to client success and agency growth. This position is based in our Louisville, KY headquarters and requires in-office work.
- Oversee daily operations from a production standpoint and ensure all teams are aligned with project timelines and company objectives.
- Optimize and improve processes, systems, and best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute strategic initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to assess productivity and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage resource allocation across projects to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state, federal, manufacturer, and company regulations.
- Foster a positive, solutions-oriented culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors involved in direct marketing and event execution, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality service.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in an operations management role, preferably within a marketing or advertising agency environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams, with a focus on coaching and development.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a natural inclination towards efficiency and process optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and project management tools (Asana) is highly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be able to work in our office located in Louisville, KY.
