Essential Functions:

Cleans buildings and grounds

Examples Of Work

• UNDER CLOSE SUPERVISION
• Dusts and polishes furniture, equipment, and work area surfaces
• Scrubs and cleans floors, stairs, and woodwork
• Operates and assists with rides and attractions for transportation and amusement of guests
• Assists with stripping and waxing floors
• Cleans bathrooms including commodes and urinals, and replaces supplies
• Empties waste and recycling containers
• Vacuums, cleans and sweeps carpets
• Washes windows and mirrors
• Assists with setup of tables and chairs
• Performs related work

Minimum Requirements

• Meets regular and punctual attendance standards and any special needs of the position as determined by management, including mandatory overtime and performing related work
• Spends prolonged periods of time sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping and climbing
• Visually inspects equipment prior to use and notifies management of problems, issues or concerns
• Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Lifts and carries items weighing over 50 pounds in a team setting
• Must have sufficient hearing and sight to observe activities, equipment and environment and to recognize and take action in the interest of the safety of zoo guests and employees

• Must work a varied schedule
