Summary

The Housekeeping Staff maintains a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are well-kept. They handle a range of cleaning and organizational duties, restock supplies, and collaborate with other departments to maintain high standards for comfort and satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Disinfect and maintain bathroom facilities.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap and toilet paper.
• Sweep, mop, buff and vacuum floors.
• Empty and clean trash bins in various areas of the school.
• Maintains outside walk areas, including sweeping debris and washing sidewalks.
• Clean and polish fixtures, windows, and doors, as well as dust and vacuum furniture.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and school personnel.
• Move and arrange furniture as needed.
• Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move items of up to 50 pounds.
