A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join its Louisville, KY office. The successful candidate will engage in sophisticated litigation matters from commencement to resolution, contributing to a premier practice.
Duties- Manage litigation on a day-to-day basis.
- Draft pleadings and substantive motions.
- Propound and respond to written discovery.
- Gather relevant information from clients.
- Defend and take fact witness depositions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve client objectives.
- 3-6 years of litigation experience.
- Licensed to practice law in Kentucky and in good standing.
- Judicial clerkship experience is highly desired.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Commitment to teamwork and client service.
- Ability to draft and argue motions and briefs.
- Personable, intelligent, and driven.
