Attorney

A Creditor's Rights firm is seeking an entry-level Attorney to join our high volume practice. The ideal candidate will hold a license to practice law in both Kentucky and Ohio
. This role requires frequent in-person court appearances around the Louisville Metro Area, as well as telephonic and virtual appearances statewide.

As this is an entry-level position, comprehensive training will be provided. While you are not expected to know everything at the outset, you will be expected to learn quickly and grow into the role.

• Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and decision-making.
• Manage a caseload, providing analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.
• Travel to various courts within Indiana to represent the firm in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.
• Treat all consumers/defendants with fairness and respect while creating fair payment solutions tailored to their financial situations.
• Review and draft legal pleadings and settlement agreements.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Ohio.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal and State laws.
• Skilled in analyzing case law and providing sound legal recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding time management skills with the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
