Overview
A well-established personal injury law firm in Louisville, KY is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team. This full-time, on-site position plays a critical role as the first point of contact for potential clients. The Intake Specialist will gather essential case information, screen potential clients, and ensure that all necessary documentation is obtained to begin the pre-litigation process.
Responsibilities- Serve as the first line of communication for potential clients via phone, email, or in-person.
- Conduct detailed client interviews to gather facts surrounding accidents or injuries.
- Evaluate case viability based on firm criteria and escalate qualified leads to attorneys.
- Accurately input and maintain client data in the firm’s case management system.
- Follow up with potential clients and referral sources to complete intake process.
- Ensure all intake documentation is properly completed, signed, and filed.
- Communicate with compassion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
- Coordinate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff during intake and handoff.
- Track and report on intake conversions and lead sources.
- Previous experience in a law firm, medical, or customer service setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software (experience with Needles, Smart Advocate, or similar platforms a plus).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
