** The Employee Benefits Producer is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying and pursuing prospects, building strong client relationships, and designing tailored sales strategies aligned with each client’s needs.
** How You Will Contribute:
*** Develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate prospect lists
* Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plans
* Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of the person or property to be insured, and to discuss existing coverage
* Inspect property, examining its general condition, type of construction, age, and other characteristics to determine if it is a good insurance risk
* Select carrier that offers type of coverage requested by client, contact underwriter, and submit completed forms to bind coverage
* Acquire all information necessary for quote submission to underwriters
* Prepare and present quotes to prospective clients
* Call on clients to deliver and explain policy, to analyze their insurance program, and to suggest additions or changes.
* Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made and monitor claims to ensure they are settled equitably for both the client and the insurer.
* Attend meetings, seminars, and programs to stay up-to-date on new products and services, to learn new skills, and to receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.
* Prepare and maintain monthly Inventory Templates for submission to Profit Center Leader and Regional President.
* Pursues a course of personal, professional development.
** Licenses and

Certifications:

*** Insurance License (L&H)
** Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
*** Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
* 1 – 3 years of sales experience (preferred)
* Ability to travel, schedule, and plan as necessary to comply with customer needs
* Ability to use computer and various software programs, including MS Office.
* A clean driving record per a Motor Vehicle Report and proof of personal auto insurance meeting Brown & Brown’s required minimum coverages of:
Coverage A-Liability $100,000/$300,000;
Coverage B-Medical Payments $10,000, and Coverage C-Uninsured Motorists $100,000/$300,000
