Senior Network Engineer

Onsite to Louisville, KY

Contract

• 10 to 12 years Cisco switching and routing with NX-OS experience as well as Catalyst IOS.
• Firewall experience, writing rules, diagnostics and troubleshooting firewalls, IPSEC tunnels (VPN)
• Work as Team member for Change tickets, Incidents P1, P2, etc. RCA, evaluate and propose possible correction to reduce number of Corrective Action on RCA and infrastructure

• Switching & Routing Cisco, AWS Networking, Cisco Client (uses TACAS), Firewalls (Cisco or Palo Alto, etc.). IPSEC, VPNs, Load balancing.
• Write and Perform Change tickets, Incident resolution, RCA for incidents and Problem Tickets. Troubleshoot with other Groups such as Server team, Storage Team, internal users.
• Join P1 and P2 Major Incident bridges, work inside the Datacenter and office space as needed.
• Work after hours and weekends for Change tickets or Incident resolution.
• Attend CAB and defend Change Tickets, correct CAB requested correction in Change tickets.
