Position Overview

As a AI Operations and Implementation Lead at Galen College of Nursing, you will be responsible for translating Galen’s AI strategy into day-to-day operational reality across staff functions at Galen’s main campus. This role serves as the connective tissue between enterprise AI strategy, technology teams, and frontline operational teams—ensuring approved AI tools are implemented effectively, embedded into workflows, and delivering measurable value.

This role is hands‑on and execution‑oriented: partnering with functional leaders to identify use cases, redesign processes, support pilots, and operationalize specified AI solutions in a responsible, scalable way. The individual will help teams move from experimentation to adoption, ensuring AI is used consistently, appropriately, and in alignment with Galen’s mission and governance standards. The ideal candidate has a strong AI knowledge base that translates into use cases, understands how work gets done, can partner with technical teams, and can guide staff through adopting new tools and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of approved AI tools and pilots across staff-facing functions (e.g., student services, enrollment, operations, finance, HR, marketing).
  • Partner with functional leaders to identify high-value AI use cases and translate them into executable implementation plans.
  • Support workflow redesign to ensure AI tools are embedded into real operational processes—not layered on top of existing work.
  • Serve as an execution partner for Galen’s broader AI strategy, helping move initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Support phased rollouts and pilots, including defining success metrics, operational readiness criteria, and post-pilot scaling considerations. Surface operational insights and lessons learned to inform future AI investments and roadmap decisions.

  • Provide practical, role-based guidance on how AI tools should be used in daily work (e.g., guardrails, examples, “how it fits into your workflow”).
  • Serve as a liaison between operational teams, IT, data, compliance, and leadership.
  • Support AI governance structures by providing operational input on feasibility, risk, and readiness.
  • Position Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
