Overview
Allied Resources Technical Consultants is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Architect II to support Transmission & Substation Project Management operations for a leading energy services organization in Louisville, Kentucky. This role will be responsible for planning, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint solutions at the site level to improve project management efficiency and streamline business processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong SharePoint administration expertise, experience integrating enterprise systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Hybrid – Louisville, KY (Broadway Office Complex)
Onsite Tuesday–Thursday | Remote Monday & Friday
24-Month Contract
Full-Time – 40 Hours/Week

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities- Plan and execute SharePoint solutions at the site level (initially one site, with potential expansion to three to five sites) to support Transmission & Substation Project Management business requirements.
- Configure and maintain SharePoint libraries, lists, and site structures.
- Perform administrative functions including content maintenance and user issue resolution.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Office and other enterprise business systems.
- Gather and document business process requirements from non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop business cases for implementing SharePoint-based solutions across business units and IT.
- Determine appropriate use of standard versus custom SharePoint solutions.
- Define deployment processes for new solutions and ensure seamless integration into existing workflows.
- Communicate newly implemented solutions across the organization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation outlining solution use and maintenance procedures.
- Establish governance standards and best practices for SharePoint content and solutions.
- Recommend opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through expanded SharePoint capabilities.
- Collaborate with Information Technology teams to investigate and implement system enhancements.
- Mentor and train internal employees and contracted staff on SharePoint usage and maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related discipline preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on SharePoint administration or architecture experience.
- Experience configuring SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and permissions.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint governance and best practices.
- Experience integrating SharePoint with enterprise systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional technical solutions.
- Strong documentation and process-mapping capabilities.
- Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
