NTT DATA is seeking an Agile Coach to work REMOTE for our end client and their team.

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Agile Coach to coach new and experienced teams as they adopt Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and LPM practices within our cyber security portfolio. These teams deliver complex, business-critical cybersecurity capabilities in a highly dynamic environment, requiring advanced SAFe expertise, executive presence, and the ability to adapt industry best practices to the Client's and EIP's environment. This contractor role offers the opportunity to work alongside engaged leadership and have a direct impact on value delivery and continuous improvement.

This role requires a proactive, executive-oriented leader capable of navigating complexity and driving outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides knowledge and expertise around Lean Agile processes while coaching key roles in the organization to be self-sufficient in day-to-day operations.
  • Leads large scale Agile transformations and complex Agile delivery.
  • Partners with key stakeholders and senior leadership in constructing the foundation necessary for transforming from a waterfall (or no) framework to a Lean Agile framework.
  • Partners with Release Train Engineers to prepare and launch new ARTs
  • Teaches, mentors, and coaches leaders and their teams in Agile practices while building a culture where Agile teams can thrive.
  • Trains leaders and teams at all levels of the organization on Agile strategy and help them understand and articulate the benefits of Lean-Agile delivery.
  • Creates and drives a work environment with focus on continuous improvement, broad collaboration and alignment across program, portfolio, ART, technical, and business teams and their stakeholders.
  • Skillfully facilitates group dynamics and communications, regardless of the audience, and ensure that every voice is heard and heeded.
  • Incorporates enterprise standards and experience to advance organization's Lean Portfolio Management practices.
  • Actively coach, mentor, and influence cyber teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and business partners in Lean-Agile principles, Lean Portfolio Management best practices, feature prioritization, and backlog refinement, fostering a culture of accountability, adaptability, and collaboration.
  • Drives the ongoing evolution and adoption of SAFe practices within EIP.
  • Creates tools and leads training sessions to demonstrate how leaders and associates will apply Agile frameworks in their day-to-day work.
  • Guides three new ARTs through the transition and drives continued adherence to optimal Agile work practices.
  • May provide on-going iteration management for high profile initiatives to provide real-time coaching as well as to gather and share Agile best practices across the enterprise.
  • Begins to influence department's transformation strategy.
  • Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding approach for transformation components, and work is performed without direction.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years serving as an Agile Coach in a fast-paced technology-based environment.
  • At least 10 years working with Agile frameworks in high-demand environments, including experience in hybrid models (Scrum, Kanban, project/program management).
  • Demonstrated success coaching and mentoring teams and leaders in Lean-Agile practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to empathize and relate with those new to the Agile methodology.; adept at presenting to executive leadership.
  • Advanced facilitation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
  • Validated advanced Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), IC Agile Coaching (ICP-Client), SAFe Practice Consultant).
