V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Service Now Business Process Consultant in Louisville, Kentucky
. Service Now Business Process Consultant is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes in alignment with Service Now best practices. This role works closely with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and guide organizations through process transformation leveraging the Service Now platform.
- 4+ years of experience in business process consulting, process improvement, or Service Now-related roles.
- Experience mapping processes and writing clear business requirements.
Skills And Abilities
- Strong understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge), and/or other Service Now domains such as HRSD, CSM, ITOM, or Sec Ops.
- Key Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences
- Process-driven mindset
- Stakeholder engagement and facilitation and collaborative team mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Service Now certifications such as:
- ITSM Implementation Specialist
- Business Analyst Micro-Certification
- Experience working in Agile & ITIL environments.
- Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement background.
Job Responsibilities
- Implementation Support:
Partner with technical consultants, developers, and architects to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. - Assist in designing process-related configurations such as forms, workflows, SLAs, approvals, and reporting.
- Support testing efforts (UAT and QA) by validating business logic, processes, and user experience.
- Support organizational change initiatives and help customers adopt new processes.
- Develop training materials and support end-user training sessions.
- Provide post-implementation process reviews and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate meetings and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage expectations, timelines, and deliverables for the process-related components of a project.
- Work closely with project managers to track progress and report risks or issues.
- Lead workshops to gather business requirements, understand current-state processes, and define future-state workflows.
- Document process flows and user stories.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Ensure alignment with Service Now out-of-the-box capabilities and best practices.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers on leveraging Service Now platform features for process optimization.
- Translate business needs into logical, simplified process workflows.
- Provide guidance on platform configuration vs. customization, balancing customer needs with maintainability.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
