Word Press Developer
Location: Louisville, KY
Experience Level: 1-3 years
Status: Full-time
About the Opportunity
We are hiring a Word Press Developer on behalf of a confidential client: a well-established, multi-state family law practice with offices across seven U.S. cities. The firm is in the midst of a significant digital transformation, including the build of a new primary website that will serve as the foundation for SEO, paid media, content, and client acquisition across multiple markets.
This role is not about basic site maintenance. You will be responsible for building and evolving a high-performing Word Press environment that supports growth, measurement, and long-term scalability. You will work closely with strategy, SEO, paid media, and creative partners to ensure the website functions as a true marketing and intake engine.
What You’ll Do
You will architect, build, and maintain Word Press sites that serve as the firm’s core digital platform. This includes collaborating with marketing and analytics teams to ensure site structure, performance, and tracking support business goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build reusable page components and block patterns for scalable, multi-market site builds
- Create and manage custom post types, custom fields, and taxonomies
- Optimize site speed, caching, and Core Web Vitals using modern performance best practices
- Implement structured data, schema, and technical SEO enhancements
- Integrate third-party tools including CRMs, form builders, call tracking, and marketing platforms
- Configure and manage Google Tag Manager, GA4, and conversion tracking
- Maintain hosting environments, backups, staging sites, and deployment workflows
- Monitor site security, plugin health, and uptime
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Word Press development, including custom theme and plugin work
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with staging environments, version control, and modern build workflows
- Strong understanding of site performance, security, and technical SEO
- Experience implementing analytics, event tracking, and conversion tracking
- Comfort working alongside marketing, SEO, and paid media teams
Why This Role
You will be working on a high-impact digital platform where your work directly influences lead quality, intake efficiency, and firm growth across multiple markets. The client values partners who understand how engineering decisions affect marketing performance and business outcomes.
If you enjoy building fast, thoughtful, conversion-focused Word Press sites and like working at the intersection of code, data, and growth, this is a strong opportunity.
