Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to play a pivotal role in tracking, analyzing, and improving the performance of the business. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence company-wide transformation by partnering closely with business decision-makers across marketing, sales, and finance. The ideal candidate will be experienced in retrieving data from diverse sources, creating insightful and visually compelling dashboards and reports, and leveraging data to drive strategic and tactical decisions.

Responsibilities include defining KPIs and metrics in collaboration with department leads, building and managing analytics products to monitor performance, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations through written and verbal communication. The Business Intelligence Analyst II will proactively alert stakeholders to performance changes, conduct deep-dive analyses to explain trends, and work with the data engineering team to prioritize data needs, address data quality issues, and support data modeling.

Additionally, this role ensures that departmental tools such as sales products, Salesforce, and Google Analytics are utilized effectively for accurate data collection. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with the best data science team in Ed Tech.

• Master’s Degree with an Analytics-focused program (Business Analytics) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Advanced SQL skills and 3+ years of experience managing large datasets and running complex queries using CTEs, Window & recursive functions.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau.
• 2+ years of experience analyzing SaaS product metrics and sales and marketing data from systems such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, and Google Analytics. Experience with supporting analytics and ML workloads.
• Experience in the education space.
