Our client, a large enterprise organization, is seeking an IAM Operations Specialist to support identity services across a complex, multi‑forest Active Directory environment. This role focuses on day‑to‑day identity operations, user lifecycle management, directory services, and administration of Entra (Azure AD), Okta, and related IAM technologies. You’ll work within a regulated, FedRAMP‑compliant environment supporting mission‑critical identity infrastructure.
Contract Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Support and troubleshoot ADFS.
- Manage NTFS and share permissions.
- Administer AD Certificate Services (PKI)
- Support Windows Server environments up to Server 2022.
- Utilize Power Shell or similar scripting languages for automation.
- Manage and support Okta Universal Directory, Entra , and Office 365.
- Work with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Semperis Forest Recovery, and Change Auditor.
- Collaborate with multiple IT teams across a large, complex enterprise environment.
- Create and manage users, groups, computers, OUs, and Group Managed Service Accounts.
- Administer and support Active Directory, including DNS, Group Policy, Domain DFS, Sites and Services, AD Trusts (forest, child, external), Schema, attributes, and object recovery.
Qualifications/Must Haves:
- Proficiency with Power Shell scripting.
- Exposure to IGA platforms such as SailPoint (preferred)
- Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems (preferred)
- Experience managing Okta and Entra at a Global Admin level.
- 3+ years supporting identity services in a large enterprise environment.
- Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Entra (Azure AD), and Okta.
- Background supporting FedRAMP‑compliant or highly regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of:
Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), AD backup, recovery, and auditing, Windows OS and Windows Firewall, PKI and certificate management. - All education levels will be considered; equivalent practical experience is fully acceptable.
