The AWS Cloud Administrator will be responsible for supporting and managing AWS environments focused on Data and AI infrastructure.

This role requires deep expertise in AWS cloud services, automation, containerization, and Dev Ops practices.

The consultant will work onsite and support activities aligned with EST/CST time zones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage AWS environments supporting Data and AI platforms.
  • Implement and support production-level AWS cloud solutions.
  • Work with AWS services including VPC, Subnets, NACLs, Security Groups, secure connections, EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, Lambda, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, and EKS.
  • Manage and orchestrate containerized workloads using AWS ECS and Fargate.
  • Develop Terraform plans, Ansible playbooks, and automation scripts.
  • Write and maintain Linux Bash scripts for operational tasks.
  • Utilize AWS CLI for configuration and automation activities.
  • Work with Dev Ops tool chains including Git repositories, Crucible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate on data platform integration;
    Snowflake experience is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
  • 8–10 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years in AWS Cloud Administration.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with core AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, EKS, Lambda, etc.).
  • Experience with building and supporting AWS-based Data solutions or Data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies, including AWS ECS and Fargate.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and/or Python for automation.
  • Ability to write Linux Bash scripts.
  • Understanding of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience using AWS CLI.
  • Experience with Git-based version control.
  • Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
  • Experience with automation tools or coding languages (other than Python) for infrastructure automation is acceptable.
Certifications
  • Minimum of one AWS certification related to cloud administration is required.
