NTT DATA Services currently seeks a AWS Cloud Administrator to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Administrator / Dev Ops Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in AWS cloud platforms, automation, and cloud‑native data solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing production‑scale AWS environments, supporting data platforms, and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to enable scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, configure, and manage AWS cloud environments for enterprise and data‑centric platforms.
  • Design and manage secure AWS network architectures including VPCs, Subnets, NACLs, Security Groups, and secured connectivity.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain AWS services in production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Support and operate AWS cloud infrastructure for data platforms and data solutions.
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads using AWS ECS and Fargate.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible.
  • Automate cloud infrastructure and operational tasks using Python and/or other automation languages.
  • Write and maintain Linux Bash scripts for automation and operational support.
  • Use AWS CLI for environment configuration, automation, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, integrating infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Collaborate with development, data engineering, and security teams to ensure best practices and compliance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments using Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, and related tools.
Mandatory Technical Skills
  • AWS Cloud Administration (5+ years)
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS services including but not limited to:
  • VPC, Subnets, NACLs, Security Groups
  • EC2, S3, IAM, ELB/ALB/NLB
  • Lambda, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail
  • EKS
  • 8+ years of experience supporting AWS cloud‑based data platforms / data solutions
  • 5+ years of experience in Containers & Orchestration:
  • AWS ECS, Fargate (mandatory)
  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Automation:
  • Terraform, Ansible
  • Python (or other scripting/programming languages for automation)
  • 5+ years of experience Scripting:
  • Strong experience with Linux Bash scripting
  • 5+ years of experience CI/CD & Dev Ops:
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of Dev Ops tool chains such as Git/repositories, Jenkins, Crucible, etc.
Good to Have Skills
  • Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake
  • Exposure to EKS administration in large‑scale environments
  • Familiarity with additional automation or Dev Ops tools
Certifications
  • Minimum of one AWS certification related to AWS Cloud Administration (mandatory)
  • Examples: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional, AWS Sys Ops Administrator, etc.
Soft Skills
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently in complex production environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Dev Ops delivery models
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
