Engineering Recruiter Position Summary
The Engineering Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top engineering talent across multiple disciplines. This role partners closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand technical requirements, manage the full-cycle recruiting process, and deliver high-quality candidates in a competitive talent market.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition
Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles including entry-level through senior leadership positions.
Source candidates using Linked In Recruiter, ATS platforms, referrals, and industry-specific networks.
Screen candidates for technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and candidate presentations.
Hiring Manager Partnership
Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, timelines, and workforce planning needs.
Provide market insights on candidate availability, compensation trends, and hiring strategies.
Act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.
Candidate Experience
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates from initial outreach through offer acceptance.
Effectively communicate job expectations, compensation, and career growth opportunities.
Maintain consistent follow-up and transparency to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Offer Management & Closing
Support offer development, negotiations, and candidate closing.
Address candidate concerns and objections throughout the process.
Ensure smooth onboarding transition in partnership with HR.
Process & Reporting
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and candidate quality.
Continuously improve sourcing strategies and recruiting processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
2+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on engineering or technical roles.
Strong understanding of engineering disciplines and technical skill sets.
Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., Linked In Recruiter).
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Agency recruiting experience.
Experience recruiting for manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or software engineering roles.
Ability to recruit in high-demand, competitive talent markets.
