Job Details

Compensation: Towne Park offers competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. The hourly base pay range is $10 per hour plus $5 per hour (12am-6am) plus $5-$10 per hour in tips.

Work Schedule: 11pm-7am.

Benefits: Eligible employees may enroll in accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and the company’s 401k retirement savings plan. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible.

Summary

The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, assisting guests with luggage, and handling guest inquiries.

Essential Functions

Descriptive Statement(s) – % of Time:

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients – 25%
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location; practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette – 10%
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage – 20%
  • Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries; provides information about amenities – 10%
  • Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; processes claim checks and maintains ticket information – 35%
Qualifications Education
  • High school diploma or GED
Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of application or within a commutable distance
Work Experience
  • One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Skills
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations
  • Mathematical skills: add/subtract three‑digit numbers, multiply/divide with 10’s and 100’s; perform operations with American money
  • Understand 24‑hour and military time systems
  • Understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Operate a manual transmission desired
  • Perform parallel parking
SCOPE Authority To Act
  • Job is fairly routine; follows established practices; decisions are made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines.

  • Regularly required to talk or hear; sit or stand for extended periods; and may run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Lifting: up to 100 lbs occasionally, up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 20 lbs constantly.
  • Outdoor work for extended periods: extreme heat and cold weather.
  • Travel up to 5% may be required.
