Mental Health Technician – Night Shift (GRACE Women’s Unit)
The Brook Hospital is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our GRACE Women’s Unit on the night shift. In this role, you will support the safety, structure, and therapeutic environment of our patients by working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Performs safety checks daily and as needed per guidelines
- Knows location and condition of all patients at all times
- Ensure proper hand off of clinical information
- Assists in management of behavior and control of destructive/unsafe behavior per facility guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications- Education – High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
- Years of experience needed – No experience required. Direct patient care experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
- Certifications – Must maintain current CPR certification.
- Computer skills – Ability to: gain training through web-based programs; participate in employee surveys; enroll in company benefits.
- Communication – Must possess excellent verbal skills in communicating with patients, coworkers and visitors.
- Teamwork – Must be able to actively participate in a treatment team environment.
- Service Excellence – Consistently demonstrates all Service Excellence Standards.
