Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens Travel Nursing Job in Louisville, KY

This healthcare job offers hands-on experience in cardiac catheterization, working alongside an innovative cardiac care team in one of Kentucky's top hospitals. • Deliver direct patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures (1:1 patient ratio in procedure room).
• Operate and monitor imaging and specialized cardiac equipment.
• Accurately document procedures and patient data using McKesson Cardiology and Cerner EMR.
• Participate in call rotation, responding to urgent cardiac cases as scheduled.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between cardiac labs to support team coverage and clinical operations.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.

• Active Kentucky RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse.
• Proficiency with McKesson and Cerner EMR systems.
• Ability to float between cardiac labs as needed.
• Preferred:
  Structural heart experience; scrubbing or monitoring experience in cardiac procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and clinical skills.
