Designated stroke center in the area

Staffing Model: Staffing CRNA s (21 FTE)

16 POS; 4 ORs + 3 Endo suites at ASC- 14 POS on Fridays

2 Separate facilities on the ground
- Surgery Center & Hospital (13 miles from the main campus)

Care team model; 1:4 Medical Supervision

First call is 7p-7a, second call is 7p-11p weekdays, 7a-7p on Sat and 7a-5p on Sat. Weekday 7p-7a for C1, 7p-11p for C2. Weekend is 24-hour coverage for C1. Saturday is 7a-7p for C2. Sunday is 7a-3p for C2.

All call time is paid at callback rate

Pager call 30 min callback radius

MDs do cases first and call in the CRNA only if needed

Credentialing takes 90 days minimum.

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.

Case Mix: Ortho, designated stroke center, complex neuro cases, No OB, No CV, regional/blocks. CRNA s do some of their blocks;
Epi s/Spinals for other types of cases (ortho/blocks/etc)
