- Companion care: safety checks, meal prep, outfit selection, games, errands, cleaning, and making someone smile.
- Personal care: bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, medication reminders, and general mobility assistance. Some caregivers have CNA, HHA, or PCA certifications, but these are not required.
If you have experience caring for a family member or have been a full‑time parent or homemaker, you could be a great caregiver. Experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, senior homes, or senior centers is valued. Teachers, childcare workers, or retirees looking to give back are also welcome. Certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide are a plus.
Qualifications- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance
- Reliable personal transportation
- High school diploma or GED
- No felons
