About the role;

Provide efficient, quality-oriented physical therapy patient care following the individualized PT Plan of Care (POC) including assessment, treatment, plan, progression of a home exercise program, patient education, and communication to maximize the patient’s progress towards achieving the functional goals set by the evaluating PT.

Required

PTA license in good standing with KY Board of Physical Therapy

Must work well with people

Strong ethical and moral character references

Willingness to support and encourage co-workers

Skill in appropriate scheduling and planning

Accuracy in all job duties / assigned tasks

Ability to communicate clearly and to establish / maintain effective relationships

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods

Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, twist, reach and lift; demonstrate exercises to patients effectively

Must be able to transfer patients safely

Visual and auditory acuity for frequent use of computer and telephone and occasional use of other office equipment

Lift / carry (including moving equipment) up to 50 pounds

Occasional stress from balancing workload and multiple tasks

Well lit and ventilated, with non-hazardous and hazardous equipment

Category III: involves exposure to blood borne pathogens and may encounter chemical hazards

Extreme cold, heat and noise due to environments at athletic functions

Minimal exposure to communicable diseases
